Gen2 connector pinout
On the Denali 2.0 connections, its the metal pins, not the connector plastic that designates female or male. The pods/cansmarts/dialdims have female ends that you plug the male light pods into. If customers need to add non-Denali gear into our harnesses, they will need DNL.WHS.050.
Connector Set - MT Series 3-Pin (DNL.CTR.MT03) that has a great pic of the pins involved with the connectors. There you can see how the male metal pins would be housed in the "female" plastic connector vs the female metal pins in the "male" plastic connector;
